Hi,
Meet me, Jennifer Brinckmann, founder and creator of Brinckmann International, a company that was born in 1996, 2 years after I graduated from college. I hold a minor in English Literature and a major in Mexican Spanish to English Translation from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM, Campus Monterrey).
I know my name doesn’t sound very Spanish (it’s German, BTW) but that is a mere coincidence. I have been living in Mexico since 1975 and grew up in this beautiful country. I breath, think, and eat Mexican Spanish and can write Spanish better than many natives.
Brinckmann International was always my dream. Since age 14 I never wanted anything more than having my own Translation Agency. During the 13 years since the inception of the company I have assembled a small select team of Mexican Spanish Translators who collaborate in our efforts to produce beautifully translated documents and websites for the Mexican market in Mexico and the Hispanic market in the US.
Our translations are far from literal (you can use free online translation services for that). We have made out of translation an art, producing presentations, manuals, and websites that read as if written originally in Mexican Spanish.
